Screen pinning is also a handy feature for when you’re playing a game on your PRIV and don’t want to accidentally minimize the app by tapping the Home button.
Here’s a quick overview of how to take advantage of this useful feature!
Turn screen pinning on or off
- Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger
- Tap > Security > Screen pinning
- Tap the switch
Tip: If you don’t want your PRIV to return to the lock screen after unpinning an app screen, turn off the Ask for <Password | PIN | Picture | Pattern> before unpinning switch.
After turning on screen pinning, to pin a screen on your device complete the followings steps:
Pin a screen
- Open an app or a screen that you want to pin to the foreground of your device
- Tap Recents
- On the app or screen that you want to pin, tap
Note: When Screen pinning is being used, the status bar along the top of the screen will no longer appear until you have unpinned a screen using the following steps.
Unpin a screen
To unpin a screen so you can access another app, touch and hold Back and Recents at the same time.
